Success Rates
As you begin this journey to pregnancy & delivery, you will want to consider everything possible to maximize your chances for a healthy baby. At Center for Advanced Genetics (CAG), in vitro fertilization (IVF) is our dedicated area of expertise. Although some published studies have reported that conception is more likely if patients undergo more than two cycles of IVF, no patients have required this at CAG.
Note that while Dr. Sills has positively contributed to the outstanding pregnancy rates at very large fertility clinics both in Europe and the United States, CAG is currently the newest IVF clinic in California.
Accordingly, CAG does not yet have its own statistical legacy as 2016 was our first full year providing IVF to patients from California and around the world. But what a successful year it was!
Although fewer than 50 cycles were performed in CAG’s first year, our overall clinical pregnancy rate was 70.4% — where average patient age was 38.6yrs. So like some older, large industrial IVF clinics in the United States, CAG performs at a level far above national average.
Moreover, many of Dr. Sills’ patients had prior failures at other IVF units. Dr. Sills envisioned CAG as a boutique practice with an emphasis on those with a difficult and/or complex prognosis. His personal oversight of every dimension of the IVF sequence likely underpins our remarkable outcomes.
NOTE: Patient characteristics vary among programs; therefore, any published success rates should not be used to compare specific IVF treatment centers.
