Price Guidelines

Depending on individual clinical factors (and even geographic location), IVF costs can vary greatly. Please note that some IVF clinics may provide cost estimates that do not embrace all required components of the IVF treatment sequence, so lower numbers might not include your total absolute cost.

At present, the average cost of IVF in the United States is $12,000 – $15,000, excluding medications like gonadotropins and progesterone. Each IVF cycle must be tailored to the patient’s specific needs, so it is impossible to provide exact cost data until after a thorough diagnostic work-up has been completed. However, prospective IVF patients can get a general idea of expected costs using an IVF cost calculator.

The IVF Cost Calculator (above) will take you to an independent web site (not affiliated with CAG) that provides free, anonymous cost estimates computed from average costs across multiple fertility clinics. While this calculator does not necessarily represent costs at the Center for Advanced Genetics, it can nevertheless be a useful guide by providing overall cost information for an IVF cycle.
