New Patients

indian_babyWe had already visited 3 different IVF clinics and none of them were very good experiences. In fact, when I had my first appointment with Dr. Sills, my husband was expecting so little that he just waited for me in the parking lot. Dr. Sills asked me if anyone came with me to the office, and I told him about all that had happened before and why we didn’t have very high hopes. Dr. Sills requested that I go out to the car and invite him inside, so he could be a part of the consult, which I did. A few minutes later, we were all three talking about our treatment plan—my hubby was actually asking questions. This was new territory for us. Once we were all on the same page, I just knew the chemistry was going to be different with Dr. Sills. Later when we got our positive pregnancy test, I told Dr. Sills he was a miracle worker. He was very gracious; he reminded me that getting my husband to join that first consult proved I wasn’t a quitter. Then Dr. Sills said…’And that’s why you’ll make a great Mommy!’ I’ll never forget him saying that. –T.F. age 39, San Marino

New patient consults with Dr. Sills generally run about 60 minutes; a pelvic (internal) ultrasound is sometimes performed in selected cases.

If you have records from a previous IVF clinic, bring your physician’s notes, embryology records, and the stim sheets from prior treatment(s). Lab data from the past 12 months may also be helpful, but this is less critical.

If you or your partner are affiliated with the U.S. military (active duty or retired) please indicate your status when contacting the office; Dr. Sills offers override appointments and special pricing for U.S. military personnel.

For PCOS patients, please book your consult in the morning and arrive in a fasting state just in case Dr. Sills needs you to have special blood tests (fasting means nothing to eat or drink from midnight the night before).
